We are a women-led South Sudanese NGO delivering context-driven, results-oriented humanitarian and development programming in some of the most complex and underserved areas of South Sudan.
ACRA's operational model meets urgent humanitarian needs while strengthening long-term resilience and social cohesion.
ACRA was founded in 2016 by South Sudanese women professionals to build resilience to shocks and stressors affecting livelihoods, health, nutrition, WASH and overall community development.
Our mission is to provide Hope and Recovery to conflict- and natural disaster-affected women, children and communities through interventions in Livelihoods, Environment, Education, Protection and Emergency Aid.
All interventions are implemented in line with human rights principles and promote peace, social cohesion and improved well-being — prioritising women, girls and children from the start.
From programme reports to our organisational capacity statement, ACRA's publications offer a transparent account of our work, results and operational approach across South Sudan.
